Overview
Dr. Ronel Soibam is a Vitreoretinal and Cataract surgeon. He did his medical schooling from Gajra Raja Medical College (GRMC), Gwalior and completed MS ophthalmology from Assam Medical College, Dibrughar. He did his general fellowship and Vitreoretinal fellowship from Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Guwahati and joined as Vitreoretinal consultant in the year 2009. He has done more than 10000 vitreoretinal related surgery till now. His field of interest is on macular hole surgery, diabetic TRD related surgery, ocular trauma management and retinopathy of prematurity.
Dr. Soibam worked as Senior Consultant (in Vitreoretina dept.) in Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Guwahati for 12 years. He is the Chairman & Managing Director of Eastern Eye Foundation & Research Center, Imphal, Manipur and visiting Senior Consultant in Vitreoretina dept. of The Eye Care Center, Guwahati and Sight Plus- The Eye Care Centre, Jorhat.
